I was alone. The stage my team was battling in was urchin underpass and all I could do was watch as my team mates fell one by one, our respawn point destroyed from a stray inkstrike and my ink tank had been cracked after getting hit by an E-liter 3K. All I could do was hide until the timer reached zero praying that they would not find me. until I heard a familiar buzzing but it wasn't the countdown clock. I looked down all and them lost all hope an arrow was circling above around me the enemy had activated an echolocater. I quickly turned into my squid form and rushed as fast as I could thru what remained of our teams ink, thankfully all my gear had the swim speed up ability, but I only made it about 50 feet before a blast of blue made me stop forcing me to turn back into my inkling form. I looked up and either side of me were 2 blue inklings each equipped with a scoped E-liter 3K. time seemed to stand still As I awaited what seemed to be my final moments until the sound I've been waiting for finally came the timer had finally reached zero. The final outcome of the match was 85% to 5%. When I was the only one on my team to come out everyone was asking what had happened to the others. I explained what had happened during the match everyone was overcome with a feeling of unease and loss. In what was meant to be just a fun sport turned into a tragic day for all inklings. Never before had a respawn point suffered a problem that caused the deaths of three 14 year old inklings. after that all respawn points were checked after every match and replaced each year so that this tragedy would never happen again.
