Confessors are taught to never submit. But if there was ever a moment to submit, even to the will of men, No! not to a man, one man, it was Amnell would never have thought to submit, surrender her ruler power, in any situation, to a man. Then again, she never expected to fall in love. Confessors were also taught that love was out of bounds, out of reach, that duty demanded to stay clear of the emotion, the human obsessed and craved emotion, called love. Kahlan disobeyed what she was taught. She loved, when she was taught not to. She submitted, when she was taught that submission would be her downfall. Kahlan Amnell submitted to her passion, to a man, the man she loved. She let him rule her, possess her, stake his claim on her and mark her as his own. Kahlan Amnell submitted to Richard Cypher. And in this submission she found the wanton woman that was always deep within her, just below the surface. She embraced it, the passion, the glory of this submission.
