A.N: My heart has been doing a series of aerial flips since Teddy proposed.

So, naturally, I wrote this when I should have been doing homework.

Billy was reading when it happened; Teddy all but lumbered through the door, coated in snow with a huge grin on his face. He was not dressed for the cold, even though Billy had warned him before he left the house. Such was typical.

He clicked his tongue, shaking his head at his beaming boyfriend. "You seem chipper for someone who's going to die of pneumonia."

"That's because-" Teddy paused, shaking the snow out of his hair. He dug through his pockets, then his smile expanded as he found what he was looking for. "We're making it official, Kaplan. Right here, right now."

Billy cocked a brow, slowly getting to his feet. "What on earth are you rambling about?" He huffed, crossing his arms as Teddy approached.

With a swift (and probably practiced) movement, Teddy Altman was down on one knee.

"Oh," Billy squawked, his face growing red. He hadn't expected an actual proposal after the words had spilled out of Teddy so quickly a couple weeks earlier. To be honest, he was perfectly happy avoiding these kinds of sappy romantic gestures.

But Teddy looked so damn happy he could only stand there blushing like the embarrassed idiot he was.

"William Kaplan" Teddy began, clearing his throat theatrically. "You are smart, kind hearted- even if you deny it! You have a knack for spells, and great hair."

Billy covered his now red face in his hands, "Teddy..."

"And it would be an honour, for a kree-skrull, fumbling being like myself to even breathe the same air as you." Teddy's smile had yet to leave his face, his gaze was gentle. "So, if you would marry me..."

"Shut up, of course I'll marry you." Billy mumbled, peeking through his hands. "Now stop kneeling like an idiot- Loki might show up."

Teddy leapt to his feet, letting out a happy (almost girly) noise. His large arms quickly weaved around Billy's thinner form, holding him in a tight embrace. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Teddy squealed, burrying his face into Billy's shoulder. He then pulled back, gasping.

"I almost forgot!" He pulled a thin, golden ring out of his pocket. "For you! I, uh... For you." He suddenly looked very embarrassed about the whole thing, and Billy chuckled at him.

"It's a perfect fit," Billy murmured, sliding the ring onto his finger with ease. After a moment of admiring the new ring, he blinked. "Oh, but you should have one, too."

One small spell later, Teddy had his own- though slightly bigger- matching ring.

Teddy laughed, "Aw, come on. I emptied my pocket for you!"

Billy stood on his toes and kissed him, his reaching up to play with his short, blond hair. When he pulled back, he smiled. "Am I worth the hassle?"

"Definitely," Teddy growled, scooping him up from around the waist and pulling him in for a deeper, longer kiss.

Yeah, Billy smiled into the kiss, he was going to love being married to this guy.
