Another Tumblr oneshot that came to me over a Skype conversation and was too cute to resist. Pretend the *heart* is an actual heart, thanks.
Kurt likes to write words on Blaine's body with his fingers. The first time Kurt sleeps in the same bed with Blaine, it's after Rachel's stupid party and Blaine is passed out drunk. Kurt doesn't know that he's a heavy sleeper, but he picks up his hand anyway and writes "I love you" into his palm.
Once they get together, it becomes a thing in their relationship. At his core, Kurt is extremely playful, and even before they make love, they'll lay in bed together and Blaine will close his eyes and Kurt will draw words into his hand and make him guess.
Most the time, Blaine gets it wrong, leading to Kurt writing "dumb" against he bend of his fingers and making them both giggle.
Sometimes, just to get Blaine back for a smart alec comment or just because he's Blaine, Kurt will draw words into the side of his neck, leaving his boyfriend crying and kicking his feet with laughter. Blaine can't help it, he's totally ticklish, and Kurt knows his weak spots.
After the first time, Kurt writes "I love you" again into Blaine's shoulder blades, or more accurately, "I *heart* U". Blaine is silent for a few moments, his chest swelling with pride and adoration as he reaches for Kurt's hand blindly and crooks his finger into his forearm.
"Always."
Kurt doesn't need to guess.
