Perspective- Iceberg the Hedgehog

"I haven't seen you in a while, Iceberg…"

I turned around and noticed Fang (my rival) with his apprentice, Spark the Wolf.

"What do you want?" I groaned, my apprentice, Darkness, gritting her teeth.

"Oh, I'm here for a battle of course!"

I smirked.

"No…not us…but our apprentices shall battle…"

I sighed and turned to Darkness. The bright scarlet sun lit her black pelt and sea turquoise eyes as she glanced at Spark with a relaxed gaze.

"I've got this, Iceberg…don't worry, you've taught me well…I'm ready for a real battle."

The sunset dappled the ground as Fang and I backed away from our apprentices.

"Girls first…" Spark moaned.

Darkness nodded in respect, "Garchomp, go!" she tossed a poke ball into the center of the field.

"Pathetic…" Spark spat, "Go, Charizard," he tossed his poke ball into the center of the field.

Two dragon-like creatures emerged, one orange and the other blackish purple and red with shark-like features.

"Garchomp, show him your earthquake!"

"DARKNESS! I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU NO TMS!" I hissed.

"Do you want me to win?" She retorted.

"Fine…have it your way…"

Garchomp unleashed a loud roar, which summoned a large shaking in the earth. Charizard toppled over.

"Garchomp, come back!"

"Charizard, return!"

"It's up to you, Emploeon!"

"Luxray! Don't die!"

I turned away from the battle and glanced at Fang, who was too absorbed into what his apprentice was doing to notice me staring at him.

"Emploeon, use Hydro Pump!"

"Luxray! No! Get out of the way! NO YOU CAN'T FAINT NOW!"

"Too late!" Darkness giggled.

"FINE! Go, Meowth!"

"Emploeon, come back! Go Lucario!"

"WAIT! THAT'S NO FAIR! I QUIT!"

"Spark!" Fang hissed, "You're giving in?"

"Yeah, Meowth doesn't deserve to faint, especially when he's my last one and some one who's super powerful is coming on the field!"

"How the heck would you know?"

"I…I'm CONFUSED!" Spark screamed and rushed away.

I glanced at Darkness, then at Fang.

"Are you proud of me?" Darkness smiled at me.

"Actually…yes I am…"

"Really?"

` I nodded.
