"You love me, you really love me", I recited as I was looking in the mirror being the actress I am. My best friend Elle was over my house watching me and looking at me with question. "You really think you are going to be an actress, don't cha?", she asked when I sat on my bed stressfully.
"I truly and deeply dream of it", I said.
" Awww… you're making me cry" she says after I make my deep statement.
My name is Maiada DiMarco. I go to De'gorne High in Italy… Yeah, I wish! Anyway, I do go to De'gorne High, but definitely not in Italy. It's actually in New York. I'm in the 11th grade and I'm the biggest drama queen you'll EVER meet. Besides, the real title for acting club IS drama club.
"You're really over the top, there are other things in life, like love, school, and family", Elle told me.
" I know, I know, but how cool would it be to say my best friend is lead role in R.E.N.T as Mimi and I'm going to get first row seats!", I said as I tried to convince her.
"Yeah, I guess it would be cool", she said as she gave in to my condescending ways. The best thing about having a best friend is that they ALWAYS give in.
