Warning: Depressing content, might offend Christians, although it's not intended to.
A.N.: This is based on my own experience with religion, seen from my perspective, and thus, only my opinion.
A.N.: My parents, upon learning that I was no longer a Christian (I am of legal age), became very angry and told me that I was 'decadent", I was "a f***ing idiot", and that I was "killing my own immortal soul". I was afraid of them for two days, then decided I didn't care. However, from someone who just didn't believe in that religion, they have made me its bitter enemy. That said, I probably wouldn't have anything against christianity had I not been conned into it in infancy and forced into it ever since, and I certainly don't have against Christians, as long as they are good people.
CHRISTIANITY

You weren't in the world for long,
not even a year,
you knew nothing of the world,
of pain and of fear.
Teaching you of good and evil
would simply not suffice,
to protect you from the devil
they had offered you to Christ...

They are tampering with your brain,
weaving their spell,
viosion of eternal pain,
telling you you'll go to hell.
You have wasted many years
listening to lies,
you are blind just like the rest
but you shall open your eyes.

You have always made an effort,
tried to get it right,
you have taken their word for
what's black and what's white.
You believed the human mind
is inherently diseased,
you've been hoodwinked,
you've been blind,
you've been living on your knees.
.
Now that you're a little elder
and you start to know life's charm,
you start to see sometimes pleasure
doesn't just do any harm.
You are starting now to question
everything you have believed,
you've been just another victim,
you've been cruelly deceived.

The certainty has grown
and now you see it clear
you try to speak of what you know,
but nobody wants to hear.
They will tell you that you're blind,
that you're a slave of sin,
they try to invade your mind
and destroy the thoughts within.

Though you are a grown-up man
you know what you know,
what you think is not worth a damn
unless they say so.
They try to make you deny
what you think and see,
say that you believe a lie
for conformity.
.
What you feared is coming true,
just a little worse,
they shall make you see their view,
if they must by force.
"Drawn in since I had been born,
strangled by a lie,
if to live is to conform
I would rather die!..."
