She cried. For the thirteenth time that day, she cried. No one ever saw her cry. She always went to an isolated spot, far away from anyone who could possibly care and she cried. This was the first time she cried outside. It was okay though no one would be able to tell she was crying because of the rain.
She knew she shouldn't cry. It was his own damn fault. She had tried to save him from the certain depths of Hell, but he just ripped her heart out and stomped on it. Numerous times. But every time he kept running back to his father.
Their relationship had been secret. She knew her friends would certainly disapprove of their relationship. He was after all the same person who had tormented her and made her cry on so many occasions. She smiled. Of course, that was just a way to get her attention, he told her one sunny day, just like how Peter Stemsons did in elementary school.
But none of that mattered now. He was on one of his so-called 'meetings'. When it happened they ruled it as an accident, but she knew better. There was no way he would have been on that sail boat. He always got seasick. She always teased him about it, she thought with another bitter smile, because how can you get seasick so easily if you can fly around on a broom at fifty kilometers an hour?
Tears kept falling as she walked over to the lake and sat down on the dock. This was it. She couldn't hold it in anymore. There was no use anymore. There was no way she could find anyone like him again. She let out an inhuman laugh mixed with a scream as she jumped into the water. She had always loved the water, how ironic that she was going to take her life in it?
Her last thought before everything went black was, "I'm going under just for you Draco. I hope you are waiting for me on the Otherside."
