Will McKenzie stood by the side of his mother's grave he watched her casket being lowered slowly into the earth. He struggled not to let his tears or emotions show as he thought it was a sign of weakness. Which was pretty rich coming from him because he made a certain girl (what was her name again? Kerry or something? ) cry after dumping her despite his protests to Neil's family that they were not even dating.

Will was pretty glad he told Jay and Neil not to attend his mother's funeral mainly because of their despicable sexual comments about her and he was glad Mr Gilbert and Mark Donovan wasn't there. This was because they were the ones who caused her death and of course were quickly arrested by Simon's cousin who was a police detective in the homicide investigation team.

Will could see his father standing talking to Simon. How dare he show his face here? Especially due to the fact he was the one who left her and Will and took all the child support money and spending it all on his new wife Susie. Thankfully he wasn't there for long because Will's grandparents were seen yelling at him and telling to get the fuck out "Good Riddance" thought Will. He could feel his emotions taking hold again but he struggled to hold them in as he made his way back to Simon's car. When he heard a soft sweet voice that was all too familiar.

"Hi stranger" Will turned slowly and saw unless his eyes were deceiving him Charlotte Hinchcliffe was standing right in front of him looking more beautiful than ever and even looking equally gorgeous wearing a black dress with black tights and heels which showed off her long gorgeous legs. Will felt an urge to throw his arms over her but the loss of his mother stopped him just in time. "I'm so sorry about your mother Will" Charlotte said sadly "tears were forming in her eyes as she said this. "I should have known Mark couldn't be trusted". Will thought it was sweet of her to express sympathy but didn't think blaming herself would make much difference. Besides she only got the tail end of what happened Carley only told her what happened a week before the funeral.

"You mustn't blame yourself Charlotte" Will said softly not knowing that tears were forming in his eyes more than hers. "I just wish that you could have met her" He choked on the last word and without warning broke down in tears. It seemed so stupid he felt like how Simon did every time Carley knocked him back.

Charlotte took that moment to pull the still sobbing Will close to her and hugged him with all the strength she had soothing him and cooing over him. When Will softly calmed down Charlotte lifted Will's face to look at her "I think your mum sent me to you babe" she said gently and with that she kissed him softly on his mouth.

"Come with me back to mine" Charlotte suggested "You'll feel more better there". Will nodded gently and let himself be led by Charlotte to the waiting cars.

At Charlotte's home in her bedroom mind.

Will kissed Charlotte with all his might. She kissed back with all her might too. Will then took that moment to grope Charlotte's bum and thigh quickly pulled off her tights and began to unzip her dress. It dropped to the floor. Charlotte was still standing there in bra and panties. Will's grief for his dead mother melted away slowly as he sat on Charlotte's bed mesmerized.

"I think your mum would have wanted someone to watch over you Will" said Charlotte at last "and god willing it should be me as you are so sweet and not afraid to show your sensitive side". "Which is more than can be said for Mark" thought Will.

"I love you William McKenzie" Charlotte declared lying down next to him. "I love you too Charlotte Hinchcliffe" said Will who was sobbing again.

The two young lovers wrapped around each other again and kissed like there was no tomorrow.

The End
