Harry potter was scared. Here he was running away from his cousin Dudley and his friends.
And he was just very scared! He was running around the school- but it was only a matter of time before they beat him...they always beat him...
Tears went hot down his face...he just wanted to get away! Wished harry as a strange feeling started to go through him...

Now in another universe harry would've teleported on top of the roof, the school would yell at
him, his relatives would treat poorly...and so the cycle would repeat for another 4-5 years.
Luckily for harry, this wasn't that universe...

In an unknown location miles away, an experiment was taking place...
"Alright...begin phase 1." "Phase 1!" shouted a technician. The head technician watched the
data output. "Good, good. These numbers look healthy...begin phase 2". "Phase 2!"
shouted a technician. The head technician gave him a look. "Y'know, you could just do the
action and not shout it"..."Sorry sir!" "Force of habit sir!" The head technician rolled his
eyes and went back to work. "Alright...begin phase- and that's when the generator room
exploded! The head technician struggled to get back on his feet. "Report! Somebody report!"
Another technician looked through the data. "Sir! It would seem that the experiments main
reactor resonated with a weird energy spike many miles away from here and dragged the source
of it here!" The head technician acted quickly. "Quarantine the area and send in a response
team!" In no time at all, military men were swarming the charred room. They all pointed their
hundreds of weapons at the soldering crater...where a young boy was huddled in fright.
"Wha-? Stay on your guard!" Shouted commander sharp. "It could be a sectoid trick!"
One of the medics brought out a gene scanner. "Negative sir, he's human...but there are some irregularities... Sharp groaned, the paperwork he'd have to do...

And so it came to pass that harry potter meet X-com...and the world would never be the same...

AN: This is heavily inspired by HOTPOINT and PSYKOTIC ADDICTION, both can be found on my favorites, here's hoping they finish their masterpieces soon!
Also, I know it says "in-progress" but really I just don't like boxing myself into a corner. For now this is more of a one-shot, maybe two-shot at most. That I might continue one day...but probably won't.
