Angel of Music
Kourin Lucrece
Disclaimer: Je suis une lyceenne. Si vous pensiez, vous sauriez que Le Fantome de l'Opera est le ramon de l'ecrivain Gaston Leroux. Je ne le suis pas!
A/N: Bien venue! This was written a while ago, before I read the Kay novel and just after I saw the musical. I actually wrote this poem during English class when I was supposed to be writing about Holden Caulfield... .;; It's based on a combination of the Leroux and ALW versions, but it's just a general poem about Erik. Enjoy and please review!!
-
Angel of Music – hidden away
Far down from the light of day
Talented genius composing in the deep
Singing in secret to those asleep
-
Fallen Angel – devil called
Voice and face hidden from all
Heaven's music in hell's earth
Shunned to silence from cursed birth
-
Saddened Angel – far from sight
In the music of the night
Deep in love that ends in cries
Broken hearted, angel dies
-
Well that was cheerful... As a bonus, a note on Erik's music:
A strain of music, broken chord
Lovely music taking form
Stronger, growing, flowing notes
Angelic voices upward float
