Authors Note: This is the second fic/one-shot I've ever done, so pleas be nice. Also I don't have help in writing apart from MW which sucks most of the time, so if there are any errors I'm sorry but it can't be helped unless they are specifically pointed out to me.
Pleas leave a review (no flames pleas) constructive criticism is welcomed.

Sunrise
DG sat on the gray marble balcony, her hands loosely held on to the edge under her. If any one were to pass by they would probably end up having a fit seeing the youngest princes practically dangling off a high ledge. But it was the only place close to her room that was also outside. Back in Kansas all she had to do was climb out her window to get some fresh air. She really didn't want to take a tumble down stone steps trying to reach the first floor in the middle of the night. She really needed to tell glitch about elevators.
So after hours of staring at her ceiling ,waiting for sleep to take her to dream land, in a bed that was way larger than she needed on sheets that were probably worth more than she wanted to think about she went in search of fresh air and a star lit sky. It had been a rough few months for everyone after the eclipse.
Not that it wasn't hard before but she couldn't really relate to anyone in that aspect. While she was off in another world being taken care of, people in the O.Z. were suffering under the witch's rule which in a way was also her fault. Those particular thoughts were the reason she was out here in the first place. Plus there was also that little insecure voice in the back of her head that kept worrying over Cain. In the last four months he had volunteered to take a group of rebels and round up the remaining Longcoats that were holding up in the south. No one had heard from them since the day they left. A few days of his absence had made her realize that Cain meant more to her than she thought. Which made her worry even more.
DG hadn't realized it was so late, or early, depending on the way you looked at it, when she saw the twin suns rise out behind mountains. There light made a path over the large body of water below the gray stone and trees. She was so engrossed watching the suns rise and there rays dance over the water that she didn't hear the whispered foot falls behind her.
Two strong arms rapped themselves around her middle and pulled back to a very solid chest. She couldn't help but to let out a surprised yelp. Or the involuntary shiver that ran up her spine when she realized who it was. She sucked in air when she felt his lips next to her ear "DG". Was it her imagination or did his voice sound a little husky.
Before she could say anything else Cain placed her back on solid ground, turning her to face him but not letting go of her waist. The suns drenched everything in a glowing gold, if she hadn't known better she would have thought she was dreaming. He looked down at her his eyes taking on a translucent blue. He brought a hand up to smooth her hair out of her face. She was speechless. Did this mean Cain had feelings for her too? Before she could let out an incoherent word out Cain's lips were softly pressed up against hers. It took less than a second for her to react. She rapped her arms around his neck while he pressed her closer. After a few minutes of bliss they broke apart to breath. They leaned there foreheads together locking eyes and seeing everything for what it really was.
