Can anyone help me find this one shot about Ino? The only thing I can recall is that she dies at 16 or 18 or something and at like 4 she thought being a kunoichi would be awesome. I can't find it and it's frustrating.

Really short Tenten one-shot about how she feels about Neji's death. Inspired by a wonderful picture on deviant art and a fan fiction on here titled Dark Ages. Should be in my favorites if you want to check it out.

Disclaimer: Naruto isn't mine.

Warnings: Swearing. Angst. NejiTen. Character death.

Cry Baby.

Tenten stares out the window of her eerily silent apartment as she always did, peering up at the storm clouds that whirled angrily in the sky. She is absentmindedly twirling a kunai around on her index finger, and even as the blade sometimes slashes the window, she remains quiet, reminiscing. Through half-lidded eyes, she watches as the first drop of rain falls onto her window sill, shortly followed by more. She pulls the kunai off of her finger and presses her hand to the glass.

The heavens always seem to cry on the anniversary of his death. It adds to her pain.

She passes a brief glance over her shoulder and towards the envelope sitting on her bed. She wishes to put it on his grave for him to receive, but the rain will ruin it, she knows. There is another pain in her chest. Tenten ignores it: She is used to it by now, after living three years without the one she loves.

She thinks with bitter amusement that she realizes her feelings for her teammate far too late. By the time she was ready to confess, right after the War and after he was safe and sound, Sakura came up to her and, with tears apparent in her own eyes, told her that he was dead. She remembers how she presses a kiss on his forehead, where his seal used to be. As she lets her tears fall onto his pale, lifeless face, with Lee quietly sobbing right next to her, Tenten thinks of what he would've said had he seen them in such a state. "Cry babies."

Tenten doesn't care anymore. She cries for him once more as she turns away from the window, feeling ashamed of staring at the rain too long. Neji hated the rain.

NOTE: I'm still upset that Kishimoto-sama killed off Neji. Guys, I had an entire story already written out for NejiTen and then—Neji's fucking dead. Not fair.

QUESTION: I dunno.. How was your day, I guess?

Okay everyone, tell me what you think: Flames, criticism, good reviews, everything's welcome. Porcelain out.
