This is more like a prologue, I want to make sure someone likes it. All right, this is my first fanfic, so please give me any advice. I'd apperciate it.
All characters are owned by their rightful owners. Also, I'd love to specially thank Binah. She allowed me to borrow the character, Jade. She inspired me to write this fanfic! Check out her stories they're wonderful.
"What are you doing out here?" a voice seemingly out of nowhere said.
"Looking up at the stars," the redheaded girl said without even turning around. She already knew who it was, no need to confirm it.
"They do look nice, but that's not the real reason is it?" she questioned. Pushing a lock of black hair out of her face.
"Kagome, just leave me alone." She turned around to face Kagome. Kagome peered into her deep green eyes, they sparkled like jems. She often found herself becoming lost in them. Kagome shook those thoughts out of her head.
"Jade, why must you hide your feelings from me? You know, I can read you like a book," She said with a sly smirk.
"Yeah, if you could you'd know how I feel about you," she thought looking Kagome up and down. Her skin was soft and pale, like porcelain, and she wore her silken black hair long. Her stature was short compared to that of Jade, giving her a doll-like appearance. The heavy wind knocked Jade out of her dream-like state and shifted Kagome's gray skirt, revealing even more of her shapley thighs. She had such a femme way about her and Jade couldn't resist that.
"Well?" Kagome said walking towards Jade. The closer she got the more Jade could smell her intoxicating scent. It filled her nostrils and left her feeling high.
"I'm not hiding anything you can't see already," Jade said brushing past her almost knocking Kagome over.
"Wait! Is it because of inuyasha?", Kagome yelled after her trying to catch up with the hanyou woman.
"It has nothing to do with him," she snorted as she jumped high up and quickly disappeared from Kagome's sight.
Jade couldn't understand how Kagome could be so blind. How could she not see it? She didn't care about Inuyasha at all, he was her friend. All her affections were turned to her.
"Who was the one who saved her? Did she just think I saved her because Inuyasha loves her? I saved her because I loved her. Kikyo would've killed her. There was no doubt about it. She and Naraku would've killed her. How could she not see it?" Jade thought. Questions running through her mind and she had no answers.
"Kagome, what's wrong?" Inuyasha questioned as he saw the sad expression on her face. "It's a happy time. Naraku is finally defeated. Damn bastard won't hurt anyone again."
"Jade, she's hiding something I can feel it," Kagome said looking towards the sky as the cool breeze swept over her body.
"She just needs some time to herself. I get that way too. It's nothing to worry about."
"Yeah, I guess so," Kagome said throwing herself down on the ground and putting her knees up to her chest. What was she feeling? It wasn't like anything she had ever felt before. Did she like her more then her mind let on? How could she? That's not how things go. It's not supposed to be that way.
"I'm going to bed," Kagome said before she curled up with a small blanket.
