Ed sat the sandy beach smiling at Al who had gotten sand in his armor. "Well I guess its time to go home Al. Make sure you don't bring all that sand into Winry's house!" he said. "Sure brother!" Al said, happy to get out of the sand and into civilization. The sun had set and the moon was shining brightly by the time they got near Winry's house. They saw a familiar bright light blinking in the distance and for a moment they imagined that it was their mother blinking the light so they wouldn't get lost when they came home late. Winry! they both thought and ran home. Winry smiled as they walked by her and waved. She thought, maybe tomorrow I'll invite Ed somewhere…Al too. The next day Winry woke Ed up with a wrench. "What the hell, Winry?! What was that for?" "Oh good you're up!" she said. "I know you went to the beach yesterday but I was wondering if you wanted to go today with me." "Sure" Ed said. 'Just let me get dressed. Hey Al, do you want to go to the beach again?" Al thought no, not again. I don't need more sand in this armor. No thank you. "Uh, no I'll just stay here!" he said. "Suit yourself." Ed said. As they walked to the beach they noticed the awkward silence between them. "Uh, so how's it going with the automail business?" Ed asked trying to break the silence. "It's going goo- hey the beach!" Winry said happy that atleast she wouldn't have to try and break the silence like Ed was trying to do. They put their stuff on the beach and Winry said "Hey let's go swimming!" Ed said "What in our bathing suits!?" He hadn't seen Winry in a bathing suit ever or anyone else for that matter so he was kind of exited. Ed stared as she slowly took off her shirt and pants revealing a white two-piece. Winry said "Well don't just sit there drooling come on, shrimp!" He blushed and then got mad and said "Hey don't call me shrimp!" While he was taking off his shorts he tripped over a rock and fell into their neighbors umbrella making the whole thing fall down and crash into a row of surfboards. Winry ran to help Ed up and tripped on the same rock that Ed tripped on. She fell on him and they just lay there blushing. All of a sudden, Ed flipped over and was on top of Winry. He smiled and said, "I've been wanting to do this for a long time..." and kissed her. She put her arms around his neck and Ed put his hands around her waist. They stayed kissing for a long time but eventually came up for air. They got up and Winry said "Maybe its time to go home." Ed said "Yeah" and they walked home hand in hand. When they walked through the door, smiling like idiots, Al asked, "What did I miss?"
