Souta was not a big fan of Valentine's Day. He usually got lots of chocolate from girls who liked him, but it didn't mean quite so much as it would if it was from a girl who really liked him. He wanted someone special to give him chocolate.
That morning, Souta was tapping away at his keyboard when Natsuki popped into the room, holding a small package.
"Happy Valentine's Day, Souta-san!" She said, her eyes sparkling. She held out a package for him. "Natsuki comes with chocolate for you!"
Souta smiled. Knowing Natsuki, who was just as cute and sweet as can be, she'd give chocolate to everyone. He took the package from her and smiled. "Thank you, Natsuki. But, shouldn't you be giving chocolate to someone you, really, really like?"
"Like Masumi?" Natsuki asked. "Natsuki likes both Masumi and Souta-san! So, she'll give chocolate to both!"
Souta sighed inside and looked at the package. He knew Natsuki loved Masumi, but they were both so shy about their feelings that they'd never say anything. But, still…Souta was happy to get chocolate from a girl he genuinely liked.
Natsuki planted a kiss on Souta's cheek and then left the room in search of Masumi.
Souta blushed, smiled and returned to his work, and sipping his coffee. Some time later, he decided to munch on the delicious fudge she'd brought for him. Then, he decided to do something nice for her.
Later on the day, Natsuki returned to her room and found it covered in yellow roses. On top of one bouquet was a card that read:
"Thank you for the chocolate. Love, Souta."
