Graduation Sorrows
I was talking with some of my best friends from my class, and we were talking about the usual "girl things" while picking out dresses for graduation.
"I just dumped Mike." My friend, Cassie, declared.
"He's a jerk. Why did you even go out with him in the first place?" Mihoko, another of my friends, asked.
"He reminded me of my old boyfriend."
"Which one? You've already had about a million now."
"It was Tom, and I haven't had 'a million' either. More like twenty."
"I've had about twenty-five. How many boyfriends have you had Kari? Fifty?"
"What? Fifty? No way. I haven't had any." I stated.
"WHAT?" They both gasped.
"I thought you were going out with that hottie T.K." Mihoko said.
"Really? I thought you were going out with that Ken Ichijouji." Natalie, another girl, said surprised.
"I thought you were going out with that soccer player, Davis." Cassie stated, "You need a life. I'm outta here."
"Yeah, me too."
"Sorry, I'd better go."
It's graduation day today. I sit here staring at all of the family and friends staring back at me.
I look over at all the older DigiDestined and thought about our adventures together. Tai. He was always good to me. Matt. I used to have a crush on him, but I was only eight. Sora. She's always been like a sister to me. Izzy. I think that when we were in the DigiWorld that he once had a crush on me. Mimi. I could always count on her taste in clothing, especially on prom. Joe. You could always count on him. Yolei. Where would I be without a friend like her. Cody. A sweet little boy with some good sense.
I turned my head to look at the other DigiDestined, the ones I was graduating with. T.K. He's always been my best friend. Ken. We would always talk to help each other through the struggles of the Dark Ocean. Davis. Well, there were times that I kinda liked him, but for the most part, Davis is just...Davis.
It has been a long time since we fought side by side against a major enemy like MaloMyotismon.
I thought back to what happened a few days ago with Cassie, Natalie and Mihoko. They're right. I am a loser.
That night the three of us had a party with the other DigiDestined and some friends at Davis' house since his parents had gone to a movie and Jun was out with her boyfriend, Jim.
While everyone else was having fun I just sat there on the couch lost in my thoughts.
Someone tapping me on my shoulder brought me back to reality. I looked up and saw Davis standing there.
"What's wrong Kari?" He asked.
"Nothing really." I replied.
"You can tell me."
"I was talking with Cassie, Natalie and Mihoko the other day and they were talking about boyfriends. When I told them that I'd never had one they just...left."
"Not everyone has a boyfriend, or girlfriend before they graduate," He sighed as he sat down and looked strait into my eyes. "Everyone has someone waiting in this world just for them, and we'll all find the one we're destined to marry some day. For all any of us know, the one we're meant for could be right under our noses. But also remember, the world is big Kari, and I know that you'll find that great guy someday."
That really cheered me up.
"Thanks Davis."
"Are you going to be okay now?"
"Yeah. I'll be okay."
"If you need me I'll be right over there." He said pointing to where everyone else was.
"Okay." I said as he walked over to where everyone else was. I know what to do now. I thought as I got up and headed toward everyone else.

This is the end of the story, but if it continued how do you think it would end? I'd like to know what everyone thinks so just put it in your review.
