Jamie was bored. Nothing more to it, he was totally and completely bored. The others were at the beach, and he was grounded. He didn't do anything wrong either! Ok so that was a lie, he'd messed with the Danger Room controls, again. Forced to stay in his room until Logan called him for a Danger Room session and he was bored.

He groaned, a session with Logan! What were they trying to do to him? Kill him!

The only person he'd every heard of successfully completely a session with Logan, and not having to go to the MedLab afterward, was Rogue.

Ok so there was perk. He got to watch as Bobby, failing miserably, begged Rogue to go with him to the beach. She'd shut him down; of course, the beach wasn't really Rogue's favorite place. The perk was Rogue promised to hang out with him for the day, she'd told all the adults that he'd be her responsibility, and that she'd make sure he didn't have that much fun.

He didn't have a crush on Rogue, oh no! He wasn't really into crushes; he just thought Rogue was cool. She was really the only person who bothered to talk to him, outside of the X-mansion, when the others were forced to be nice to him. He knew for a fact that Bobby liked her, and that got Jubilee jealous, and that was always fun to watch.

He sighed, but he could only hang out with her after the Session, and then he was free, well with Rogue anyways. He looked longingly out the window facing out toward the massive backyard of the mansion he currently called home, wanting freedom now. It was hard for a guy his age to be locked up like this.

Directly below his window was the outdoor pool, and beside that laid Rogue sunbathing in a low-cut dark green bikini. This was one of the days she didn't have to worry about covering-up her muscled body, when no one was home. Her uniform was tossed carelessly over a lawn chair next to her. She'd gotten out of the Danger Room, meaning it was almost his turn.

Jamie instantly felt sorry for Rogue, her not being able to touch and all. He suddenly grinned again when he realized she was within water-balloon throwing distance. He jumped of his bed and ran into the one next to him, Bobby's room, and gently plucked a balloon from the Iceman's secret stash, ok so he'd done this before.

Running into the bathroom and quickly filling the red balloon, slightly afraid she wouldn't be there when he got back.

Luckily, he found her still there, and bombs away.

Her shriek was always deafening, definitely rivaling Jamie's own laughter. When his laughter had subsided, he chanced a sheepish glance out his window. Rogue was up now, gently shoving her now wet hair out of her eyes. Logan ran out the back door, and paused to look up at Jamie's window.

Even from his second-story window Jamie could hear Wolverine's growl. Rogue said something, and Logan stopped, just as Rogue yelled up, "That's it young man! No ice cream fah you later!"

He placed his hand on his head in a dramatic pose, and fell back onto his bed.

He looked again out the window to see Rogue still looking up, a smile gracing her lips as she silently shook her head. More giggles erupted from Jamie's mouth as he fell back on his bed. Ok, so maybe he did have a little crush on Rogue. Just a little one mind you, and as he heard a fierce knock on his door, Jamie thought that the Danger Room Session just might be bearable, just if he got to hang out with Rogue later. And maybe if he got to rub it in Bobby's face. Yeah, he thought, that might be a little bit fun.

Don't own 'em, never have.

This is probably the only story I don't have to worry about putting up a second chapter to.

This was written quickly in the time I was supposed to be writing my abstarct, so ya.
