I do not own RWBY, that is the work and genius of Monty Oumn this is just a fanfiction of my Oc characters LASR.
No one knows how much I've sacrificed when I applied to Beacon. I risked the lives of everyone at my village and even if Ace came with me, I was risking his life as well. I could do nothing to repay what that boy has done for me. The night I had with my brother Ace was something I couldn't forget.
The rain was pouring and after our last battle against a large pack of beowolfs we didn't have many options. On one hand we could run but on the other hand we could have stayed and fought to the end. We were young and scared so, we ran as fast as our legs could carry us.
Then the monitor on the airship suddenly turned on and the screen showed the woman that saved us from dying.
We were tired from all the running we did. It was a very big miracle we even found the barn. It was standing alone in a large plain, with the mountains packing out from the horizon. We ran inside as quickly as we could. Barred the door shut and I laid down to rest. I didn't wake up until the purple lady was standing above us. Then, everything started to fade away.
"Where do you think the auditorium is at?" Ace asked. Looking around the campus trying to make sense of the map he grabbed on the way out of the ship.
"Wha... How long have we been walking?" I asked being ripped from the memories.
"Uhh... About thirty minutes." He started, "you missed an explosion in the foyer."
"Aww man, was there any fire?" I asked eagerly.
"I think there some fire and maybe a little lighting." He said just before exclaiming "I found the auditorium!"
We walked in and saw the purple lady again. She was saying something to the other students but then I was transported back into the memories.
"Roan, are you alright?" Ace asked his voice full of concern.
"Yeah, I'm fine. What's our status?" I replied trying to get up.
"Well, we got away from the Beowolfs ran here and stayed the night." He explained while glancing around the barn as if he was looking for something.
"What's wrong?" I asked still struggling to get on my feet.
"It's probably nothing... Last night there were flashes of purple light coming from outside. I thought it was the lightning but then someone came in after all of it was done." He explained while looking out the window.
It was bright outside; almost too bright for night… Wait... It was day?
"How long have I been asleep Ace?" I asked quickly.
"You fell down and slept until a while ago." He started. "For a moment I thought your body was done accepting my aura healing and you were gonna... Gonna... Die." I had seen Ace cry for the most obscure reasons but, to see him cry about me almost dying? Wasn't something he did every day.
"Don't worry; the lady did help us didn't she?" I tried to console him.
"Yeah, she... She did didn't she. That's the person I want to be." He said after a moment I silence.
The crowd began to break up each student was walking their respective way. Ace went to clear his head and I went to find the training room.
