AN: I come with a drabble of my favorite het pairing in KKM, Adelbert/Julia! Seriously, I think they're so sweet… X3; Anyway! Hope ya enjoy, even if it's short.
Note: This drabble was based on the song Ghost of a Rose, by Blackmore's Night. That song fits Julia, in my opinion, so I had to make this with that theme.

The petals of the white rose caressed his cheek, whispering the memory of a pale hand tracing the lines of his face. He closed his eyes, recalling the words that she said to him in her constantly soft tone.
"Adelbert…" There was a hint of a plea, and he turned on his horse to regard her, creasing his brow at her sad expression. "Please, promise me… When you see a white rose, you'll think of me."
The eve before the war was the time of her last request. The last moonshine she'd ever feel.
And he never broke his promise.
