It was all over, life, love and greed. Stanley Walker was dead and Karen was suspended in an uncontrollable limbo. She was empty with a gaping chasm that once contained her hopes and dreams. Fear circled around her thoughts making her body shiver involuntarily as she sat against the wall of her luxury bathroom. All of the money, all of the material things refused to help her containing nothing to quieten her raging thoughts. Before she knew it the tears were slipping down her face giving release the pain she felt inside. It had been caged inside of her behind tinted glass - not even Stanley had seen her true feelings and they had started to become memories in stone until now. The feel of wet tears against her face frightened her as they dragged the pain and emotion out into the world like a newborn baby. Like a mother Karen finally gave in to the unexpected arrival of these feelings and sobbed openly into the towel she held - screaming into the fabric until energy abandoned her and she lay on the floor in a numb heap. The cage door was locked once more in an enclosure of Vicodin and Vodka. The mask was touched up and Karen left the bathroom complacent with the world and leaving behind the revolution of emotions until the next time when she slipped.
