AN: Okay with all the Twilight hype with New Moon and everything I decided (since I cannot write Twilight AT ALL) that I would write N/J one of my favourite couples on Gossip Girl! Just a deleted scene after the episode ended in 2.08 with the first (well when he knew it was her) N/J kiss!:D Also no offense to any Team Jacob people I am actually Team Switzerland but Team Edward just seemed more fitting for the moment.
For God's sake, it was like something out of freaking' Twilight.
All Nate knew was that when Jenny had kissed him, it was like there was no one else in the world.
It was like, he imprinted.
Of course that was ridiculous, after all, he certainly wasn't a werewolf, but the effect was the same.
From that moment onward, he saw no one but Jenny.
Jenny pulled back, shocked that she had really just kissed Nate Archibald.
He wasn't having that.
He grabbed her arm and pulled her to him again.
When they finally broke apart after several minutes, he couldn't help himself.
"Jenny?" Nate smiled his winning smile that she adored.
"Yes Nate?" she whispered, not wanting to break the spell.
"Tonight I imprinted on you." He said before he could stop himself.
It took her several seconds before she realized what he meant.
"You are my life now." He said, stealing Edward's classic line.
"You are so incredibly corny…" Jenny giggled.
"But I love you for it."
It was official, for Nate, there was no one else but her.
Not Blair, Vanessa or Serena.
For tonight anyway.
"I love you Jenny Humphrey." He said passionately.
When she could speak again, all she said was.
"You know I love you."
And again they kissed.
Again and again and again.
"Oh and Nate?" Jenny said many many minutes later as they broke apart, gasping for air.
"For your sake, you had better be Team Edward."
His laughter echoed down the street as she walked away into the night.
