Decided it was about time for another oneshot... Reviews appreciated... I was kind of bored, so I spazmatically wrote this.... I dunno if it makes any sense, but whatever.

-.-

There were a lot of firsts in life, Hikaru decided. He was lying on his big, over sized bed, hanging upside down, watching Haruhi work on the project they were supposed to be doing together. He was to lazy to help at the moment.

A first, for instance, was his and Haruhi's first date. He grinned, red faced from hanging upside down, at the memory. Now that was a disaster in itself.

Our first disaster, too. He mused lightly, while at the back of his mind he reminded himself he needed to sit up before his head exploded. He ignored this. But it wasn't and won't be our last disaster. His grin widened an inch.

Disaster might as well have been Hikaru's middle name. Haruhi didn't seem to mind though. She would step in and help anywhere she was needed. Hikaru was fine with this. Nothing wrong with letting his girlfriend help with his disasters.

Yup. Girlfriend. Hikaru and Haruhi were dating.

I should write a list of our firsts... Hikaru thought, feeling slightly dizzy. He should probably sit up before Haruhi got onto him for going loopy on her because of the blood that had rushed to his brain.

Oh well.

There was, for another instance, there first kiss.

Now that was a good memory.

They had there share of good memories too, of course. He might cause disasters, but who ever said that a Hitachiin disaster was a bad thing?

Well... Don't answer that question.

Naturally, there were bad memories, too. But not horrible, tear jerking, sob story bad memories, yet. He had to say 'yet' because if he didn't, he would jinx them.

There weren't many bad memories, of which Hikaru was glad. Bad memories always brought him down, saddened him.

He preferred to think of the good memories.

"Hikaru, sit up. Your brain is going to explode."

Hikaru obeyed, sitting up slowly as to prevent sudden dizziness. "Yes, mother." he mocked, smirking.

She glanced at him. "Isn't this supposed to be our project, Hikaru? Then why am I doing all the work?"

Hikaru grinned. "I don't feel like working right now."

Haruhi set her pencil down with a sigh. "Hikaru..."

Hikaru laughed. "It's too nice outside to do work, Haruhi." he brightened. "We should go on a picnic!" That would be another first...

"Hikaru, I came over to work on the project, not go on a picnic."

"But, Harrruuuuhhhhiiii...." he wined, pouting.

"No, Hikaru."

He scowled. This was not a first. He wanted to have more firsts with Haruhi! Sure, sure, it was childish, but right now, he was focused on doing things with her for the first time ever!

He stood and stalked over to her. "Please, Haruhi? I want to go on a picnic, please?"

She looked at him, her face blank. "Why? This project is due in two days, ya know."

"Its nice outside, Haruhi. We could take the project outside."

"You're such a child, Hikaru."

He grinned. "I know Haruhi. But you love me anyways."

She gave him an odd look, one that he couldn't decipher.

Oh yeah.

That's right. He had yet to tell her 'I love you'.

He considered a moment. A first, perhaps? But more than just a first, it was a commitment. At least, that's how he saw it. Telling her he loved her would be like committing himself to her for good.

Hmmm.... He does love her, he realizes, but does she love him? Would she tell him she loves him back? Or would he receive on of those famous blank Haruhi faces?

"Hey, Haruhi..." he tries, face serious.

She meets his eyes. "Yes, Hikaru?"

"I love you."

She smiled at him, cocking her head. "I love you too, Hikaru." and she turned her head back to her work.

Eh? Hikaru's eyes widened. "Eh?" he said, staring at her.

She looked at him. "What?"

He blushed and looked away, muttering, "Nothing..."

So she loved him to.

Huh.
