The precipice of innocence
Time is cruel. Life has changed. Man has changed. However, has it been for the better?
The purging must begin. The burning desire for purity. These are the flames that cleanse. Hell has no remorse. But for what? How? Why? The fire that cleanses everything around it. Reduces all in existence to dust. To nothing. But nothing is not evil. This is why it must be stopped because nothing may not be evil but it is good. It is emptiness. However, he sees this void as transcending good or evil. I see it as inferior. I see the darkness he brings. The ash. To cold, black ash. Blocking out the light for fear of the burning. Ironic. He torches the world in fear of being burned. In fear of the light that will scorch him. He blows away the ashes. He wants to wash himself clean. However, he tries to achieve this by crushing those around him as if he bringing punishment to others, he will be saved. But in the end, he will burn. Not by fire, but by truth. You cannot dodge from truth. You can only hide, you can only run. But truth will find us all. So I faced it and I was changed. It won't let me run no longer.
As the rain drops fell like feathers of a thousand doves. That filled the earth with an unearthly aura. FIRE will BLOW across this ground and WASH away the ROCK that burdens the man. That will attempt to kill the man. The lone man. Labeled a betrayer, but he only betrayed darkness. Therefore, at hand is the "The end of our adventure."
No other words were spoken.
Sokka no longer wanted to speak.
Aang had underestimated his enemy.
And it was not the warrior's skill but his spirit.
