Purvi: I can't believe we are graduating today.
Ishita: yeah, after this we're off to college and I'm so going to miss you guys.
Divya: (pointing at Ishita and Purvi) at least you guys are going to college near each other, I'm like so far away.
Purvi: True.. (glancing at the guys across for one last time before she gets on the stage to collect the high school diploma)
They all get pictures with their friends and bid their goodbyes.
Purvi narrating while setting up her dorm room: Past few months have been really different and difficult, with me moving to California from Texas. UCLA has always been my dream collage and I mean who doesn't like LA. But leaving high school is tuff job, not like I never wanted to graduate but there has just been so many memories. God leaving all the friends and home, and never getting to see all the people I spent the last 4 years with, and all those crushes I have never had a chance to know. Apart from bad boyfriends, girl drama, and not to mention . I miss that place. I'm glad at least Ishita is a few hours away, she goes to UC Riverside by the way…
Purvi (thinking): Freshman year here I come.
Walking into the class…
Purvi (thinking): Oh my god! The class is too packed
Slowly she finds here way to a desk and she sits next to a guy and then a girl comes and sits next to her.
Guy: Hi! I'm Vineet.
Purvi: Purvi Sharma
Girl: Kajal Mihir
They talk about where they are from and other stuff
Professor McBuffay: Hello I'm Prof McBuffay (then she gives introduction about the course and tells them that they will be put in a group for a project and class ends)
Coming out of the class
Kajal: Who the hell gives a group project on the first day can you guys believe it.
Vineet: I guess now all we can do is hope that at least we are in the same group.
Kajal: ya, when did she say she'll put the groups on her site again?
Purvi: I think today at 8:00 pm. Ok I'll see you guys later. Bye
In her dorm room at 9:30 in the night
Purvi: Let me check the groups now that I have nothing to do.(Scrolls through) Group C Purvi Sharma, Ben Chip, Aly Yang, Kavin Kshetrapal.. Kavin?! Is this the same one who plays basketball. (Kavin was Purvi's Crush during Freshman year of high school but later Purvi starts dating someone else)
Purvi: Pick up Ishu, yes, remember Kavin he goes to the same college as I do
Ishita: ok ok ok, no how are you and how's the new place and yes I do remember him, of course Disha your childhood bestie dated him right?
Purvi: Hmm, whatever.. Tell me any known faces there?
Ishita: Didn't meet anyone yet maybe soon I don't know.
