(A/N: The original title of this was supposed to be "Enemy" but then I realized that I already had a story called "Enemies," and I didn't want people to be confused, so I ended up with the title "Villain." Enjoy!)
Villain
For Fiyero, the hard part wasn't looking for Elphaba. He would have done that anyways.
The hard part was to stop thinking of her as Elphaba, and to start thinking of her as the witch, the enemy.
When he went on searches for Elphaba, he had to remind himself that he wasn't looking for his friend. He was looking for the witch.
It was a lot of thinking for someone who preferred to be brainless.
Glinda didn't understand why Fiyero was having trouble with it. She lied easily and smoothly. She called her best friend 'the witch' every day, never giving it a second thought. Glinda just wanted to encourage her "fellow Ozians."
Glinda would never understand how hard this was for Fiyero.
Fiyero would have looked for Elphaba even if he didn't have to.
But he would never start thinking of her as the enemy.
(A/N: My dad wanted to know what Wicked is about, so he looked it up on Wikipedia. When he was done reading it, he comes up to me and says "Glinda isn't that nice and Elphaba isn't that evil." And I'm pretty much screaming "That's the point!" It was funny. Reviews are love!)
