This is a really corny and short one-shot. I wrote it while I was away at camp and decided to put it up for you guys. I may put up the other one-shots that I wrote, but I might not. Now that I'm back, our stories are going to be update again.

"Zack?"

"Yeah?"

"When did our relationship start to change?"

Zack Martin opened his eyes and turned his head to look at his companion in confusion. Riley Jackson stared back at him, calmly waiting for an answer. Their eyes met. Light blue vs. Dark Blue. Zack was the first one to turn away. Dark Blue always won in their case.

He turned his head back and rested in his original position, arms behind his head, and staring up at the light filtering through the leaves on the trees. He let out a soft sigh and thought about it himself.

Being sixteen, almost seventeen, Zack knew that it has been almost four years since he met Riley and the rest of her family. He can easily remember the fateful day when she walked through the revolving doors and into the Tipton lobby, equally walking into his life.

He remembered what she was wearing, how her face looked as she looked around at the extravagance of the hotel, he remembered how her hair was styled and even what she smelled like.

Strawberries.

His favorite.

"You know, I really don't know." Zack admitted after another sigh. "I remember the day you moved into the Tipton changed me life completely," he sat up and looked down at her. "Without you guys coming to the Tipton, I would have never known I was an elemental."

"That's not true," Riley contradicted as she sat up from her spot in the grass. "If we hadn't come to Boston, there would have been another reason for your element to have awakened." She gave an un-Riley like smile. "And if that happened, who knows if we would have met."

"I don't believe that."

"You don't?"

"No"

"Why not?"

"Because," Zack hesitated for a second before continuing. "I believe that we would have met anyone. One of the reasons being your band."

"That's true." Riley smiled and laughed a little bit. "Remember when we got stuck in the mall that one time?"

Zack burst out laughing and nodded in agreement. "Yeah, everybody went nuts trying to hide from the security guards." He shook his head. "Your imagination can really run from you when you're paranoid. What was really funny though was when we switched bodies from Arwin's PU."

"That wasn't funny." Riley denied. "I mean, do you know how many embarrassing moments we could have had?" she shook her head at the thought. "Best thing though, is the element fights we have."

"As odd as that is, I have to agree. It's my favorite thing about being an elemental." Zack replied seriously. "All of the fights that we've had, just shows how strong when are when we're together."

"Yeah."

"And, I think my favorite, favorite thing about it is the fact that I fight beside you. Because we have the same element, I know you have my back."

"And I know that you're going to protect me, even if I don't need it." Riley agreed and then leaned forward, giving him a sweet kiss.

"Do you want to know my favorite thing about you?" Zack asked boldly.

"My charm?" Riley teased.

"No, the fact that you always taste like strawberries." Zack replied with a grin. Riley matched it with her own.

"Your favorite.
