I was listening to Meet you there by a group called Busted. It got me thinking. People judge others by appearance. They say whatever they think about someone but don't actually know the person. I mean that is totally normal, we all do it, but it's kind of sad, maybe the person isn't all that bad once you get to know them.

So this story is about that.

I do not own any characters and sadly I do not own the song.

Samantha Colleen was sitting on the desk in a classroom. She and her friends were discussing an upcoming test. They were laughing, when Sam's boyfriend came in. He went straight to Sam and gave her a quick kiss. Meanwhile Sam's friends were laughing so hard that they fell from their chairs, literally. Sam hated it when that happened. Her friends were making fun of her boyfriend's last name, again! It pissed Samantha off. When they wouldn't stop, Sam pulled George by the arm and led him out of the classroom, away from her friends. Not that George had anything against that; he liked it when his girlfriend pulled him away from her annoying friends. They walked through the hallways and finally stopped by the library.

"What's wrong honey?" George asked. Sam didn't know what to say, it was getting on her nerves, but it wasn't Georges fault, he couldn't pick his surname.

"They are so annoying!" was all Samantha said.

"I know they are. But forget them, I mean come on; don't tell me their opinion means something to you?

"…" Sam looked away.

"Oh…it does" George was really disappointed; he let go of Sam and took a step back.

"It's not that. I just…" she paused.

"You just, what?" George was getting impatient.

"They are my friends, of course their opinion matters to me." She looked at George. He was hurt.

"But I kind of don't really care anymore. It just bugs me that they judge you by your last name. They don't know you the way I do. At first, when I didn't know you, I agreed with them, it was kind of funny. But now…" she touched his face; he looked at her and smiled.

"Now I know you and I love you, and it doesn't matter what anybody thinks. I am happy, I'm happy with you." With that said she took a step to George and kissed him on the cheek.

"I'm happy too and…" he kissed her.

"I love you too."

It doesn't matter what anybody thinks, they are perfectly happy in their own little world.

"Where's the world that doesn't care, maybe I should meet you there,"

Btw: Sam and Samantha are the same person. Just to be careful.
