A Slightly More Serious Christmas

Summary: Or is it…

Pairing: Fluffeh fluff for Im Yong Soo/Wang Yao or Korea/China

"Aniki, it's cold."

"Deal with it, aru."

Everything about Yong Soo's expression screamed the exact thing that filled his tone: begging. His face was tickled red, though more from the cold than embarrassment. His eyes were wide and pleading.

"Can I have a hug?"

"NO."

Still, Wang Yao hadn't turned around.

"But it's cold."

"Get a jacket, aru."

"Can I wear Aniki's jacket?"

"I'm using it, aru."

"We can s h a r e~"

Yao finally turned to the younger, his mouth set in a firm line and his eyes narrow.

"You should have been prepared for this cold! It's the day before Christmas!"

Soo blinked.

"Huh?"

"Christmas."

"Huh?"

"It's Christmas tomorrow."

"Huh?"

"December 25th."

"Huh? What? Really?"

"Yes. The time when you buy presents." A pause. "Which you didn't do, did you?"

"…That originated in Korea, daze."

"Aniki, Aniki!" Soo ran up, a slip of paper flapping about in one hand. Long legs carrying him quickly, he soon found himself upon his target, beaming."Now you can't say I don't give you anything daze!"

"Ah, Im Yong Soo. Merry Christmas, aru." Yao sighed, looking around for a shopping cart filled with his belongings, and more so his culture. But the house was in its proper place, the only thing before him being a Yong Soo and his piece of paper.

"Merry Christmas daze!" And with those words, said paper was thrusted into rough hands. Korea's hands were left covering Yao's, however, hiding the picture from view. Yao tried not to think of how large Soo's hands were compared to his own, or how perfectly they held his hands and how warm it was… Luckily, the cold already hid any blush these thoughts had conjured.

"I know Aniki likes cute things, but a manly man like me doesn't know much about those kinds of things. So I got you the cutest thing I know, daze."

Hands left hands, almost leaving Yao to pull them back (He would never admit it, or if he did Yao would use the cold as an excuse) and exposed a photo of… Soo.

"Doesn't this contradict that 'manly' comment, aru?" He just looked at Soo's smiling likeness, an eyebrow cocked, expecting an answer. After a significant amount of silence, Yao looked up from the picture to see eyes boring into his. Soo shifted from foot to foot, an expectant smile playing on his lips.

After some eye contact, he felt he had to clarify.

"It's Christmas, Aniki."

Yao smiled.

"I'll give you the thing you love most," and he gave the photo back to Soo.

"Frugal Aniki. While I do love Korea," winning a smile from Soo, Yao reluctantly let the picture fall back into his hands to see Soo's arms not moving back but behind Yao, "But I think I love Aniki more." That's when he hugged him.

In case you were confused by that last sentence, here's clarification: Yao found himself blushing wildly in larger, stronger, more Korean arms. He was sure his flush would be apparent no matter how cold it was, and was completely, utterly perplexed.

"A-aru?"

Although he didn't try to struggle, Soo's grip was firm, but soon loosened. They just stood like that for a while, before Korea repeated again, "Merry Christmas."

In reply, Yao cuddled deeper into his snug arms.
