Adrian Monk is an interesting type of man. He likes order. As an example, if something is not done in the correct time incriminates ((10 seconds for instance)) he will insist on it being done over. He will even go so far as to set a timer to make sure it's done exactly the way it's supposed to be done. Sometimes it drives his friends and family crazy but mostly they understand.
Adrian Monk is a unique type of man. He will practice saying the same thing over and over in the mirror even though he has said it 8 times a day every day for 10 years. Trudy once remarked that she has heard it so many times she could recite it backwards in her sleep. One time after the 100th time of him saying the same thing in a row she looked at him and said that he needed to realize it was okay for him to stay silent too. He laughed and kissed her without saying a word.
Adrian Monk is a sensitive type of man. Yes he appears to be selfish and in some ways he is but when it comes to Trudy, her needs (and her wants for that matter) always come first. He has on more then one occasion put his friend's needs ahead of his wants. That, on the other hand is significantly harder for him then putting Trudy's needs first. Somehow he manages to do it.
Adrian Monk is an unpredictable type of man. There are times that he can be the most unselfish person ever. He has crawled through sewers to save his friend. He has given up what is important t him for what's important to them. But other times he will expect people to put aside their needs for his needs.
Adrian Monk is a man with unrealistic expectations. For an example he once yelled at a schoolgirl because she didn't raise her hand when he asked a question and all the other kids in that row raised their hand. He became very flustered when she refused to change her mind. Maybe one day she will end up doing what he was talking about but he didn't care about that. He wanted it to be a perfect row. Adrian Monk is a methodical man. As we see in the 2nd to last episode even the way he puts on his jacket is methodical. Everything he does is done carefully and with thought. This can be good at times. Other times a number of people had to yell at him to be quicker because he was taking forever.
Adrian Monk is a very bright man but he can also be very tough to understand. When he gets nervous he talks backwards. You is uoy. Understand is dnatsrednu. One time he got so flustered Trudy actually ended up translating his words into English.
There is a lot you can say about Adrian Monk but really all you need to know about him is that he is a loving, caring, giving man with flaws. After all, don't we all have faults and flaws? I think he is best on his team where he has friends who love him and care about him. They would think of his best interest in a heartbeat because they dnasternu (understand) him. That in a profile is Adrian Monk.
