His crimson eyes glance towards me.

His pale lips say silent words.

The icy wind steals his song from my ears.

The words he spoke, in a quiet murmur, remain to be another mystery.

His mask betrays his emotions.

A warm blush veils his cheeks.

He looks at me again.

His eyes flicker in the dull daylight.

I shout back an empty response.

"Come closer!"

The winds wipes my words clean before they even reach him.

The flurry strengthens and shrouds my eyesight.

I take a heavy step towards him.

He takes a hushed step towards me.

My bangs are clamped to my eyes, I can hardly see.

Before my gloved hand can restore my vision we collide.

Bump into each other, in one flustering moment.

I reach in front of me and grab a hold of his shoulders.

Drawn out seconds pass by before I see a pair of ruby eyes stare into mine.

No bitter wind has ever pierced me like this pair of emerald eyes.

Emerald eyes that haunt my dreams with false hope.

Hope of him taking me away from this self-isolation.

My lips curl and smile.

"…"

My voice becomes mute, as always.

I'm paralyzed in his presence.

My mind bubbled, "Why is he still staring into my eyes?"

He's just standing there, my hands still rest on his shoulders.

His eyes still dove deep into mine and I was still staring into his.

I recollect myself and say, "What did you say?"

I heard the question, there's no way I couldn't have.

I felt his warm breath caress my face.

"I…" A lump of silence infected my throat.

My muscles tense up from anxiety and I take a cold breath into my lungs.

"I…" I let my head hang from my shoulders, looking at our feet.

I purse my lips before letting out a muffled whisper, "I'm glad you came."

It didn't matter if he heard me or not, I spoke. My voice is free.

"Hmm?" I wore a questioning expression on my face.

His iconic cap hides his face, but something had definitely escaped his lips.

He looks up and into my eyes again. His lips quiver and he murmurs, "I'm glad you came."

This time I heard him and my eyes widened slightly to his statement.

He had been giving the silent treatment?

Since he decided to house himself on this frozen mountaintop.

My hands release their hold from his shoulders and they return to my side.

As he removed his hands from my shoulders, the wind blew a quick breath towards us.

Which made him shiver.

"Really?" He utters.

"…Yeah." I reply with a hesitant voice.

My arms tense up before making a swift movement.

My mind suddenly goes blank.

Taken by surprise, his arms wrap around me.

Despite his wearing a short sleeve vest.

He's warm.

His grasp around me is firm, true, and sincere.

I'm so glad my face was out of his sight.

My beat red face perched on his shoulder.

He remains motionless till he clears his throat.

I feel his arms delicately wrap around my waist, as if to not scare me away.

I can feel his breath brush against my hair.

He speaks, "Really?"

A gust of wind flips my hat into the air.

I pull my head back and look into his eyes once more.

"Yeah."

Our lips met each other in our embrace.
