It'd been on Earth since 10 000 BC. The First Seven only found it in 1913. The humans only saw it as a scientific experiment but on the planet where it had come from, it had been revered. It was the life-giver of all.
But its children fought for its power. One of them, Optimus Prime - formerly a humble dock worker called Orion Pax - made a difficult desicion. He jettisoned it into space to keep it from the clutches of his fallen brother, Megatron. In doing so, he faced great criticism for he'd lost the only thing that could have healed the broken planet.
The fallen brother pursued it into space, eventually crashing onto a planet when the planet's gravity scrambled his telemetry. He landed in the cold ice, the cold knocking him into stasis.
After its presence was discovered by the First Seven, humans built a stone structure around it to hide its alien presence from the other humans. When the frozen one was discovered, they brought him to the same structure, keeping him frozen so that they could study his technologically advanced frame for their own uses.
Eventually, its power of life-giving was discovered by the ever curious human scientists. They brought about many sparklings only to brutally offline them with the same energy that gave them life when they were finished.
It grieved greatly for the lost children and because of the humans' cruelty. Too many had died because of the war, directly or indirectly. Every other moment, it would feel another spark returning home because another child was offlined.
The war separated her children and ravaged their home planet. Now all her children were scattered in the freezing vastness of space. The loneliness and isolation had driven many to self termination.
But there was still hope. Optimus Prime, its proud child, continued to fight for the freedom of all sentient beings. It knew he'd be the one to end the war. When that was she didn't know, but she hoped it was soon. She felt the emotions that of her children felt - their joy, their sorrow and their pain - it felt the pain each child felt when they were offlined.
But there was a greater problem at hand. The humans continued to create and offline her darling sparklings. Something had to be done and it knew exactly what it had to do.
It was the All Spark. And it had a plan.
