So, of course I was early to advanced potions, my other class was pretty close, adn that's saying something since potions is in the dungeons. This is the only class all the maruaders weren't in. Only Remus and to my displeasure James. It's not as horrible as should be, I mean when it's all four...well three Peter never really did much just inflate their egos, Remus keeps him in relative check. Unlike all the other classes I'm not having notes that say "Go out with me!" or "You know you want to Lilikins!" from him and Sirius.
Okay so I've finally reached the class-room and none other than James is standing outside fingering a few chocolate frogs. I sigh and try to wlak in quickly but he talks to me before I make it "Hey Lily be my comp'ny" I stop and stare, first becuse he called me Lily, second he's asking me something other than if I'll go out with him. "Your company?" I ask "Yes, stand out here and keep me company while I eat my frogs." again I'm starring in disbelif "Why should I?" he looks around sort of rolling his eyes.
"Becuse", he starts out,"Mooney is sick and none of the Maurauders are in this class other than him and Frank's to caught up with Alice." okay he beat me...I guess I'll stand out here with him "Uhhh Why not..."I sigh defeatily he smiles, looking sweet...wait sweet?! "So Lily, how has your day been?" "Fine, I suppose, already finished most of my home-work..." "So that's where you were at lunch." I laughed "You noticed I was gone? That's just a tad creepy James." Using first names is diffrent...some how nice. I smiled and he smiled back "Hey, what can I say?" he grinned
Alice and Frank walked by, holding hands of course. It was sweet seeing them together finally, they'd been flirting sense 5th year. " Hey Frank, Alice, guess what! Lily's my comp'ny" James bragged? Alice gave me an odd look I shrugged in reply. She mouthed to write her a note later and I smiled in return. We were best friends after all. "That's nice..."said Frank and the two headed into class. "So, James, how was your day?" it's only polite to return the question. "OH you should have seen what we what we did to Snivelous!" and he started to laugh remembering.
He started to tell me the tale,other students passing all along, but was intrupted by the bell. "Hey Lily, sit with me" he asked. So I did and that was the start of our friendship. You know he wasn't all the bad by himself.
Author's Note//So it's just dumb little one-shot. Someting similar to that happened to me only I'm not in love with the person that asked me to be their comp'ny and they were eating a kitkat. ANyway maybe I'll continue it but that all depends on how many reveiws I get. It'll probly remain a one-shot Lates-Flash
