E/O Challenge. Drabble of 100 words using the word wrench. It's a hunt that has gone wrong. Sam and Dean tried hard to save the woman, but couldn't.

THE LOST ONE'S

Dean and Sam stared down at the pitiful form before them. They had tried so hard to save her, the pretty girl with the bright green eyes. Dean's heart was wrenched with grief, "I'm sorry Traci."

"Dean…it's not fair, we couldn't stop the myling, of all things." Sam's own heart tugged in grief and he turned away, to wrench the horrid sight from his gaze.

The body of the woman was ravaged almost beyond recognition, the myling having become enraged that Traci had been unable to fulfill it's demand; to be carried to a graveyard to rest in hallowed ground.
