Danny kicked a stone sadly, it was almost Christmas and he just couldn't get into the spirit. He could remember the laughing and playing but now it just didn't bring any joy to him. Suddenly he felt a cold snowflake touch his cheek and he sighed.

Where is the laughter
You used to bring me
Why can't I hear music play

Danny thought back to the past year. He had changed so much, all those stupid gifts under the tree no longer mattered to him. He remembered when he would have loved them but now, he just couldn't get into the holiday spirit.

My world is changing
I'm rearranging
Does that mean Christmas changes too

Maybe Christmas just had a way of forgetting people. Danny certainly did feel forgotten, alone. His family didn't even notice as he walked out the front door!

Suddenly Danny caught sight of Sam's house where despite how much she hated her parents they were sharing a small dinner. Just a simple dinner to celebrate them as a family. Suddenly realization bloomed inside of Danny.

Christmas is here

Danny quickly turned around and ran in the direction he had come. He had somewhere to be and nothing was going to stop him. Suddenly his ghost sense went off.

You will feel like Christmas all the time

Danny grinned and continued to run, ignoring the ghost sense as he headed down the street to his home. Finally he made it to the festive house with a smile on his face and the snow swirling gently around him.

Danny smiled as he walked in the door. Instantly his sister and parents were there asking where he had been. Danny smiled and just hugged them all.

That night Danny went to bed, now understanding what Christmas was all about and where it had gone. He just hadn't looked deep enough to find it.
