"And now Frank n Furter, your time has come. Say goodbye to all of… this… and hello… to obli-"
Riff-Raff stopped and looked around, puzzled.
"What is that?"
"What?" Magenta asked wearily.
"That noise!"
Everyone around the stage listened carefully. The noise, a whooshing, grinding kind of noise, didn't seem to be coming from anywhere in particular but was growing louder.
"There!" Doctor Scott exclaimed, pointing to the other side of the stage.
Forgetting about the lazer pointing at him, Frank n Furter stood up to look at the strange apparition. As it grew more and more visible, he was quite confused to see that it looked a big, blue box. After the box had been fully visible for a few seconds, the door swung open.
"Ahh, good, I go the right place! Come on, Rose, come see what I told you about!"
The man who opened the door was wearing a brown pinstriped suit and a happy smile.
"Hello!" he said. "I'm the Doctor."
Despite having been petrified only a moment before, it didn't take long for Frank n Furter's arrogance to return.
"The Doctor?" he echoed. "I am Doctor Frank N Furter. And you are Doctor who?"
"Just the Doctor. And I'm here to save your life."
Frank opened his mouth to argue, but then Riff-Raff took a step closer and he closed it again. "What a lovely idea."
"Just hop in the blue box."
Frank raised an eyebrow, but obviously decided that whatever would happen in the box was probably better than what would happen to him where he currently was. He walked past the Doctor and through the open door, coming face to face with a shocked blonde girl.
"H-hello," she said, eyes taking in his soaking wet hair, smeared make-up and unusual outfit.
"Hello," he replied, looking around the inside of the blue box. "What exactly is this?"
"This is the TARDIS… look, I don't mean to be rude, but who exactly are you?"
Frank smiled. "I am Doctor Frank N Furter."
"Alright. And where are you from? I mean, I take it you're not from here."
Now circling the centre of the TARDIS, Frank replied, "I am from the planet of Transsexual. In the galaxy of Transylvania."
"Alright then. Don't think we've been there… well I haven't. He probably has. I'm just… going to go see what he's up to out there. You just… make yourself at home, err…"
"Doctor."
"Oh, great, that won't be confusing at all…"
Rose stepped out of the TARDIS and found herself on a small stage, surrounded by people dressed very similarly to the man inside the TARDIS.
She stepped up next to the Doctor. "Doctor…"
"It's alright, Rose, they're not as scary as they look. Well those two are, but the rest of them are normal. Well… actually the blonde isn't. He's some kind of science experiment, but… anyway."
Rose looked at the four people clustered around each other at the other side of the stage. She smiled nervously at them, and the woman in front smiled back, equally nervous.
"If I take him," the Doctor said, nodding towards the TARDIS. "Will you let those four go?"
There was a cough from the back of the room.
"Oh, sorry, five," the Doctor corrected himself. "Will you let them go and then take off?"
Riff-Raff glanced back at Magenta, who shrugged.
"Yes," Riff-Raff finally answered. "We have no use for them."
"Ok. That's settled then! Well, nice seeing you all, but I really must fly. Have a safe trip!"
He gave a final grin and slipped back into the TARDIS. Rose sighed, waved to the unusual group of people and followed him, closing the door behind her.
