AN: This is based on the end of 'The Pits', when Nathan and Daley are by themselves.
"Well, at least the sun's going down, and my sunburn can't get any worse." Daley said, glancing at the skies.
Nathan looked at Daley's back and said, "That's not a sunburn."
"What?" Daley said, looking from her 'burn' to Nathan, and back again.
"There's a lot of red splotches, I've seen that before, it's some kind of allergic reaction." Nathan said. "Did you put anything on it?"
"After sun lotion," Daley said, showing him a bottle.
"You know, I bet if you stop using that stuff it'll clear right up." Nathan said, pointing to the bottle.
Daley looked from the bottle, to Nathan, to her back, then the bottle again, all while laughing. "Man, I so owe you."
Nathan grinned at her, took the bottle out her hands, and said, "Happy to help."
They were both grinning, not looking at the other.
"You know, I never feel as though I'm never able to help." Nathan told her.
"I know someone you help." Daley told him, blushing.
"Oh?" Nathan said, facing her.
"Yeah, well, you two fight a lot, but it's got better. And, she really likes you, but she's afraid of what you would say if she told you." Daley said, looking anywhere but into his eyes.
"Well, that's sort of the same for me. It's like, she's never even able to listen to me when I'm around, especially when I'm about to tell her I like her." Nathan said, blushing.
"Well, seeing as though we won't tell the other who we like first and second, how about we say it at the same time?" Daley asked.
"Sure," Nathan said. "One, two, three."
"You." Daley said, but was cut off by Nathan reaching behind her neck, pulling her forward, and kissing her.
