To the light of my life, the most beautiful girl in all of Tokyo(no, all of
Japan, no the
world) Arashi.
As I write this, you are talking to Kamui, discussing the final battle that will happen in a
matter of hours. The moonlight catches your hair and just looking at you makes me think
of some goddess, Hera or maybe Athena. The goddess of wisdom and beauty. That's you.
Damn, I'm lucky. Its not really fair, is it, that some people live for little or nothing, and
die for that little or nothing while I'll die for the greatest thing in the world; love. I've
always felt sorry for the others, never having a reassuring destiny like mine. Course, I've
also felt sorry that some didn't have a quick wit and upbeat attitude like mine (. Not
that I'm going to mention any names (ahem, Kamui Shiro, Subaru Sumeragi) but I think
some them were only happy when there was something to be unhappy about.
By the time you read this, we'll have fought the dragons of heaven and won (you would
not be reading this note if all off humanity was wiped out) . I'll have died protecting you,
the woman I love. What more could someone want? Not much. Nothing at all in fact.
My only regret is that my death will cause you pain. That's what keeps me awake at
night, you crying at my funeral, wreaked with grief unable to go on. Promise me that
won't happen. Because if it does, I'll come back to haunt you as a ghost and you'll have
to pay Subaru or some other onmyouji an insane amount of money to make me leave.
I love you Arashi.
I'll just tuck this note under your pillow so you'll find it tomorrow. Please, don't cry
when you read it.
Forever yours,
Sorata
