Chapter 1
"Team report to the mission room," Batman's voice blared over and the team ran to him in a matter of seconds. Without turning around Batman continued to speak assuming everyone was there, "There has been some activities in the Cadmus labs located in Gotham that gives the League reason to believe that there is foul play. You're being sent there to act as covert, understood?"
He turned to see five teens vigorously nodding their heads. After a few moments he had to refrain from facepalming to see Kid Flash speed in and trip flat on his face, "Sorry I'm late..."
He decided to just ignore the speedster, "I will send the co-ordinates to the bio-ship." With that he left in a whoosh of his cape. After everyone got dressed they went to the bio-ship.

~Ugh, Shut it Kid Idiot~
~Get a room guys, Geez... Or another mind to fill with your love fest!~

the bio-ship was filled with more arguing between Artemis and Wally on the way to Cadmus labs. The rest of the team tuned them out. But during the ride Robin sensed Connor's uneasiness.
"Connor," The Boy Wonder began. "If you don't want to do-"
"No!" The clone said a bit too loud causing Wally and Artemis to stop bickering. "I mean... I'm fine, Robin."
Before Robin could answer M'gann announced, "We're here!"
As they exited the ship Aqualad's voice rang in their heads, Kid Flash and Superboy keep an eye on the surroundings. Miss Martian and I will subdue any and all guards. Artemis and Robin will be the stealth and investigate.
A head nod from each team mate meant everyone was ready to go. All of the teens went to their spots as Aqualad brought down the first of the guards quietly. Miss Martian just caused them all to fall into unconsciousness with her mind.
Artemis and Robin quickly ran to the back hall towards an information room. After a little hacking they were in. Both of them ran to one of the many filing cabinets seeing what they could find on any activities that seemed sketchy.
~Have you found anything yet?~, Aqualad asked.
~No, not-~
An alarm blared cutting off Artemis' answer. Robin and Artemis quickly jumped up ready to fight.
~Did you guys trip an alarm?~
~No! It's not us, guys!~
As if on cue Robin and Artemis saw a girl who looked about sixteen with long messy midnight hair that reached the middle of her back run past them in a hospital gown. Robin motioned for Artemis to follow him.
~I think we just found what tripped the alarm...~
The two heroes ran towards the girl. But in a matter of minutes they had completely lost her trail. If she didn't want to be found she would not be found, they decided.
After figuring that that was the only thing that seemed off the team left.
When arriving at the cave Robin's mind was else where. He couldn't get the girl's face out of his mind. She was somewhat familiar but different. And her face showed a hint of worry but not an ounce of fear. She seemed more determined to leave than upset about being there.
All Robin knew was that he had to find her. Oh yeah, the last and final detail was the fact that sown on the girl's hospital gown was a small Batman signal.
