Unbreakable
I met her in a car crash. Of all the places to meet the person you love I met mine in a car crash. We were headed to the high school prom together, and I was so nervous. I remember how beautiful she looked, her hair, black and silky had been pulled up into a bun, a light blue dress, a black shawl, long lacey shoes that weaved and crossed all the way to mid knee. That's when the accident happened. A 16-wheeler hit us head on.
I don't remember much that happened after that, but when I did wake up again I was looking up to the twinkling night sky. One thought and one thought only had passed through my head. 'Chichi!'
I had gotten over to the burning car, as soon as I could get up on my wobbly feet and run across the ground, which at the time felt like it would collapse out from under me.
Pulling Chichi out of that car was one of the hardest things I had to do at the time. Her body had been bloody and broken, and her beautiful face was smeared with her own blood.
When the meds finally did arrive though I was cradling her agents my chest. All she would do was let out blood curtailing screams over and over again until the meds had finally given her a small tranquilizer to calm her pain. I had been crying banging the ground when her melodic voice had mumbled a sentence before she passed out again.
"Where's my Goku …help him please…"
"I'm here Chichi, I'm here…"

"RINGGGGGGGGGGG…RINGGGGGGGGGGGGG!"
" Hey Goku-san are you going to pick that up…Goku-san?" I was snapped out of my memories as Marron; another security guard snapped her fingers in front of my face.
"Huh? Oh hi Marron. What are you doing here?"
"Well your wife, Chichi called she wants you home in an hour, and the phone has been ringing off the hook! Why haven't you answered?"
"Gomen Marron, I've been off in my own world for awhile. I go check the exits when the game ends ok?"
"Sure Goku-san." Walking around in my security jacket was enough to make me loose all the tension I had built up while thinking about that night. "That night" is now how I referred to it.
A few months later when Chichi got out of the hospital I realized that I couldn't live without her, so I married her, had a kid, and lived happily ever after. Yeah like life is ever that kind. Chichi and I have been having some problems lately. We never agree on anything anymore, and we fight over everything. Our son Gohan is 9 years old and his has no idea what to do about this, so when we do fight he just walks outside. I know it's affecting him but something is just missing in my life I feel so hallow. Every thing is an endless gloomy void.
Before that night I was training to be a martial arts master, but I just couldn't do after what happened to Chichi, she still needed 24/7 care so I lied saying that I injured my back when I impacted the ground. Now I'm a security guard. I know, I know, of all the jobs in the world I happen to choose to be a security guard. But it includes doing what I love to do, helping people and an occasional fight once in awhile.
When I finally reached the end of the hall I'd forgotten all about 'that night' again and I was busy doing my job. Protecting people.
Lb- I made this while I was chatting on Maxpages ^_^ I think I turned out ok…Oh and by the way this loosely based on the Unbreakable Movie except in mine the story lines are very different. You'll C what I mean later k? *hint hint It has to do w/ fighting!*
