Fearing Eternity

okey dokely, this was written for an english language assignment about my interpretation of hell. It was written a couple of years ago though, so please bear in mind that my views have changed...R&R! :

Fearing Eternity

The fire's burning all around me,

The thing is it won't end,

Is this heaven's final fee,

The one thing I can't end.

I'm climbing up and on and on,

To the top of this eternal tower,

All the goodness has long gone,

With all the father's power.

----------

The dark angel with his sooty fork,

Is standing at the height,

Sorry got no time to talk,

You're giving me a fright.

----------

I'm falling, falling, down and down,

But I have no safety net,

I'm still wearing my death gown,

I'm drowning without a bet.

----------

I'm finding it harder and harder to breathe,

I can sense it here,

All this heat, no comfort breeze,

This eternity I'm starting to fear.

----------

It's burning my heart,

I don't like this start,

It's beginning to get me now.

It's burning my soul,

He's now found his goal,

The devil to who I now bow.
