Ginny was not happy. She had spent all day looking at, what felt like every shop in England that sold wedding dresses, and she was not the kind of girl that enjoyed shopping. She had three weeks until the wedding, and had been looking for that perfect dress for over a month, and yet still hadn't found that perfect dress. The dress that a girl's suppose to have on her wedding, that she remembers 50 years later, and thinks, What a Perfect dress!

She wasn't marrying just anybody either. She was marring the chosen one, the boy-who-lived, (or Harry Potter as he was known to his friends). She had dreamed about this moment since she was 10 years old, and saw shy, lonely Harry Potter bored the Hogwarts express.

They were planning a white wedding. Ginny just loved the snow, and if they weren't lucky enough to have real snow, Ron knew a fantastic spell that creates the Illusion of snow.

"Oh Ginny!" Cried Mrs. Weasley, as she held up yet another frilly white dress. "This one is absolutely perfect!"

That was the tenth dress that day that had been described as 'The perfect dress', and quite frankly Ginny had had enough.

"Mum. It's disgusting. Do you really think that I would want to wear something like that?"

Mrs. Weasley's face fell. "Oh… I was just… I thought…."

"Oh Mum, I'm sorry. I'm just fed up of looking at wedding dresses. Can we please go home?"

"It's quite alright, dear. And, yes I've had enough too. And I've got a slice of Chocolate cake for you at home!"

"Mum! You know I'm watching my weight for the wedding!"

"Yes dear, and there'll be nothing left of you at this rate. Now come on lets get home!"

Ginny and Mrs. Weasley disappearated back to the burrow. Mrs. Weasley had given Ginny a cup of tea and the chocolate cake anyway, despite Ginny's objections, and had disappeared up to the loft, but didn't tell Ginny what she had gone up for. Just that she had 'had an idea'.

Ten minutes had passed, and Ginny was wondering if Mrs. Weasley was alright, but Mrs. Weasley's footsteps re-assured her that she was fine.

She had in her hands the most perfect wedding dress that Ginny had ever seen. It was made of white silk, and had a white bow tied around the middle.

Ginny gasped. "Wow… Mum! Where did you get that from?"

"Well, this was my wedding dress when I married your Father. It wasn't very expensive dear, and if you don't want to wear it…"

"Mum, of course I want to. It's beautiful!"

"Ok. I can make alterations if it doesn't fit you. Skinny little thing you are! Are you quite sure you're eating properly?"

"Yes Mum, I've told you this before. Now can I try it on please?"

Ginny went to try it on, and it fitted perfectly. Mrs. Weasley's eyes filled up with tears of happiness.

"Oh Ginny, you are going to make a beautiful bride!"

Ten year later, and everybody was still talking about what a beautiful wedding it had been. Ginny and Harry, they couldn't be happier.

Short yes, but I hope you enjoyed it!
