I couldn't understand why Alice would need the Volvo, her being so small, but unfortunately she believed that she did and now she and Edward were going at it in the living room of the Cullen mansion.
"Edward, please. It's not like you're using it or anything," Alice stated. "Honestly! Sometimes you can be so possessive. First it's "don't makeover Bella, she's beautiful the way she is", and next you're telling me that I can't drive your stupid Volvo?"
Edward looked like he was about to rip Alice in half. Which comment had ignited his anger though I wasn't sure.
"Fine Edward, we'll solve this fair and square. I'll play you for it. Rock Paper scissors."
Edward grimaced and snarled, "Why don't you just tell me who wins?"
After a moments paused Alice greeted me with a small smile and a wink before turning back to Edward. "I do. Excellent!"
Day 2
"Bella, try to see my side of this argument. I'm not human. I can't give you half of the things that you need. I don't want you to choose me just because you know how I feel. I want you to love me and…."
We were driving back to my house after being at the hospital with Carlisle. Edward and I had been ironing out the details of my fast approaching "death" and were trying desperately to make it less painful, both emotionally and physically.
HE was still stuck on the fact that he thought he was a monster. But for me, he was anything but. I don't know how he couldn't see that.
"Edward," I spoke up, interrupting whatever else he was about to say. "I love you, not Mike, not Tyler. When you left, you didn't see my crying on their shoulders saying, h Mike, how will I go on, Now did you?" I had been heavy on the sarcasm, and by the look on Edward's face, I could see he got the message.
He pulled me into his side and whispered in my ear, "I love you too my Bella," and then leaned down to place his ice cold lips against my forehead.

Day 3
A knock sounded at the door, and Edward was immediately at my side. I had no idea what waited on the other side of that door, other than a clan of vampires whose leader had shown interest in my fiancée.
Carlisle opened the door to reveal more breathtakingly beautiful vampires. I had promised myself and Edward that I wouldn't compare myself to the amazingly beautiful blonde vampire that was Tanya, but the minute I spied her perfectly layered curly hair, angled features and flawless skin, I immediately began to wonder how Edward could give that up for me.
She sauntered through the door with a walk almost matching Alice with it's grace and took Edward's hand. "Ah, Edward. I've missed you."
"He smiled back at her saying "I've missed you too Tanya. Thank you for your hospitality when I needed it."
"Your more than welcome," she politely stated. Her attention soon turned to me. She sized me up, and then with a big smile pulled me into a hug. "Bella, isn't it? I really hope that we can be friends.
I hated to admit it, but I was really beginning to like Tanya.
