Doing what's expected

The alley way dimly lit and the wind blew through it causing a melodic whisper to chime with the rustling of leaves. A slight rustle sounded behind me I turned only to be smashed into the brick wall of the street.

"Well hellooooo, what do we have here?" the knife pressed to my cheek was sharp, as sharp as freshly broken glass. It had an odd golden glow to it that you could barely make out in the dark.

"I asked you a question!" my head was yanked back in a rough enough manner to make me yelp in pain but not enough for me to answer.

He threw me down to the ground, tearing at the skirt of my dress. I fought back by kicking him in the face. Then I ran as fast as my legs would carry me. I could hear the sound of both of our feet pounding the ground; his steps seemed to grow louder by the second.

I skidded to a sudden halt as I realized I have cornered myself onto the edge of a cliff.

"I to be claimed by the sea of me deary," the man snarled his blackened teeth showing as he held up his knife for me to see. We both knew I wouldn't just, I just couldn't do it. The breeze was filled with sprays of salty water as he came down on me, the knife landing in my chest.

I woke up gasping for air. A dream…

"Wake up woman, the customers are gonna be wonderin' why the bar still be closed at this hour," A shrewd man and a fat woman waited at the does. Kanker and his wife, why anyone would marry either of them remained a mystery to me.

I quickly got into decent wear; well, as decent as Tortuga gets.

Captain Jack Sparrow was there again, the women on either side of him. He seemed slightly flustered. He looked up and upon seeing me, flashed his always expected half smile.

Gibbs followed toward where his captain's gaze held and beckoned me over.

I set the rum filled mugs down at their table and leaned in slightly so I could actually hear what Gibbs had to say but before he could say it a load of EITC soldiers burst through the door.

The chaos that followed can only be expressed and explained if you had been there to experience it.

Gun shots were fired. Swords were smashed together and fists were swinging.

The party at the table and I rushed out the back door as the place lit up in flames.

"To the docks!" Gibbs yelled.

"Aye!" Jack. He grabbed my wrist and dragged me behind him. I let him, as he had expected.

Sorry, that was an aweful!

But I promise when my creative juices start to flow and school stops gnawing I'll make better written sense.
