I looked around Falador from underneath my hood, my deep purple eyes scanning the city square (also the market) for signs of my contact, the wizard Ariane. It had been over three months since Lord Zaros has returned to the world and I have been kept busy doing His will. I kept my robes around me to cover my armor so as not to alert the blasted Saradominists of the presence of a Zarosian and a traitor to the White Knights and Temple Knights. I guess now would be a good time to explain who and what I am.

My name is Vladimir Ebonfire, I'm the World Guardian of Guthix despite the fact I follow and serve Zaros devoutly, I will do what I can do take the Gods down while He works to stop the Elder Gods from destroying the world by devouring the Anima Mundi.

I looked around and kept my hand on the pommel of my sword as I walked towards the Setting Sun Inn for a drink and bed. I sat at the bar and ordered a beer and rented a room. As I sipped the Asgarnian Ale, I felt a small and gentle hand on my shoulder.

"Hello, Vlad." A soft feminine voice said and I immediately tensed up. My hand shot to the hilt of my sword and I turned around on the bar stool slowly to see the crimson-haired wizard Ariane, with her hand still on my shoulder. "Finally, took your time getting here, Ariane." I grunted and got up and put the coin I owed for the drink and room on the counter and made my way to the stairwell with Ariane close behind me. I walked into the room I rented and shot a small fire spell at the fireplace in the room and sat on the edge of the bed. I looked at Ariane who was looking out the window at the now stormy city.

"What took you so long, Ariane?" I asked, my gaze never leaving her. She looked away from the city and looked me dead in the eye "I was ambushed on the way here by Zamorakians parading as Zarosians to stir up the anti-Zarosian feelings that have nearly reached a boiling point, Vladimir." I nodded and sighed "We should get out of the city as soon as we can, then. They'll be after you since you're known to contact me…" I muttered under my breath
