Puzzles of Youth
Glimmers of lost pieces
What puzzle is formed?
Faces obscure and obsolete
Nameless without perpetuity
Immortality is false.
Only strangers now,
Who are you, a friend or lover?
Would I know you if the blood was wiped off and your eyes were open?
Colors all as one
Because they fade together, ageing in unity.
Puzzle or not,
Your face is obsolete still, anonymous though close by
The heart of your youth is still warm,
Beating deeply inside entwined with my own
A puzzle is solved.
