A/N: Here's my venting on how stupidly badly written the Drakaverse is. It, without even reading, has a premise and Wikipedia summary that is laughably worse than Twilight.
Note 1: Total Domination
Draka Earths, various local times, SupCom universe equivalent time sometime post-3860.
Elite Commander Dostya checked off yet another instance of ludicrously unlikely coincidence from the list of human variations that had to be cleansed. Now it was up to the SCU pilots to clean up the aftermath.
Yes, she just used an Aeon term. Given burning totalitarian human civilizations was stress relief for a Cybran ACU pilot participating in the Mythical Worlds Project, it was very much appropriate, given how insanely stupid and contrived the circumstances usually were that could possibly bring things to such a point.
The only reason they didn't work with the Seraphim Imperium to, quite simply, point some of those Shard-Entities at this multiverse cluster was because there were only a few universes here out of about 10^80 that had actually reached the monumental slag heap of stupidity that was required for the Draka thing to even get off the ground, and far fewer where they actually survived long enough for these exorcism missions.
Now, the Coalition was purging those few improbable universes one by one, and this had been the last. Their tech rate had been laughably bad due to incessant infighting among their hyper-militant "citizen" population after having no outside enemies, and their own monumental arrogance. They were every failing package and ideology in history put together, and somehow by random chance had gotten far enough to actually be dangerous to the human race in a few timelines, such as the one she'd just finished cleaning.
There was something funny about being evil and hyper-aggressive: the fact that someone somewhere will decide you're too annoying and raise their foot to stomp on you, sooner or later. Folks who weren't hyper-aggressive nor arrogant enough to be so aggressive didn't tend to have that problem to nearly the same extent.
Next on Dostya's vacation list was the universe that was described by the ancient literary work of... 1984.
After a brief lookup of what it was about, Dostya mused that it seemed that they'd gotten it somewhat right.
The future for totalitarians was a giant mech's foot stomping on their face. For the rest of their psionic signatures' existences (not very long given Psi Disruptors were active).
A/N: If Stirling wasn't a (at least closet) Nazi sympathizer then he would not have written the Idiot Ball Infested series he did. Whatever he says or does, keep that in mind.
