Chapter 1: City Of The Ancients
A brilliant light radiated on the miracle pool that scattered through the water. Aeris lifeless body began to float back up to the surface. The light began to get brighter and stronger with each passing minute as Aeris laid in the crystal clear water. The small gash on Aeris body was magically healed, and with that she began to breathe. Finally the light dimmed and then disappeared. Aeris was left there alive once again. Her wrinkled hands reached for some solid surface, and once she found it she pulled herself up and then dropped onto the ground. Her clothes we all dry as well as her hair. She then regained her balance and stood up. "Cloud. Cait Sith. Tifa?" she yelled as she began to look around for a sign of life. Hours had gone by before she was brought back to life. Cloud, Tifa, and the rest of the gang were long gone. A sparkle of light shined from the ground and caught Aeris eyes. "My staff!" she said in an overexcited voice. She picked up the staff, straightened her dress, and began to search for the gang. The grey lifeless trees surrounding The City Of The Ancients made the place seem cold and gloomy, she new she had to get out of here the presence was just to intense.
Corral Valley Cave
The spiral cave was dark almost to dark. Aeris paced herself though making sure she took no wrong turns. When she finally reached the middle of the cave she decided to take a break and rejuvenate. After a few measly minutes of rest she was back in the grind. Now she had to climb the rest of the way, the rotten wooden ladders weren't too reliable but she had no other choice, she gritted her teeth and began to climb one foot at a time. She was going at a good pace when a plank of wood she was relying on broke sending particles of wood flying down and hitting the ground with a "Pow". She recovered quickly but realized that, that was a close call. Her hands were shaking as she finally reached the top of the cave; she saw a white light coming from a distant exit and walked towards it.
