Sirius had never wanted something so badly in his entire life.
Not even as badly as that giant flying motorcycle he'd had his eye on. Not as badly as he wanted to get away from his stupid, pure blood fanatic family. Sirius snorted. He doubted his parents would approve of this relationship, if it ever happened.
No, this he wanted more than everything else combined.
Sirius stared at his friend, fast asleep in his bed. He wished more than anything he could be in that bed as well, his arms wrapped tightly around that gorgeous, slender frame. He wanted to be the one who would hold him after his transformations, watch over his trembling body, kiss him and tell him it would be alright. He didn't care if it was wrong, he didn't care what everyone else would think. All he cared about was Moony. All he wanted was for Moony to care that way about him. He wanted to kiss that beautiful face, and be kissed in return. He wanted to whisper in the darkness, and hear "I love you too" whispered back. He wanted to be the most important part in his friend's life.
He didn't want to be friends. He wanted more. He couldn't do the things he dreamed about to a friend.
"Remus?" he whispered to the darkness. "I love you."
A soft snigger sounded from Remus' bed. "Finally."
Miles away, a small, pink haired girl woke, crying.
