Introduction

The cave was getting damper, I had only to watch my step. I kept my ears and eyes open. I could hear the echoes of the water from afar. There were pools of what water cumulated over the years. I glanced at the Dark Brotherhood member, seeing it wasn't long ago that I was in his position. I gave a hand signal to keep quiet and stay put.I crouched down, running on ahead.

Feeling the area around me, I only breathed in the musky smell that I filled the air. Seeing that ahead, I counted a few enemies. Ogres, a couple of Will-o-Whisps. I drew my bow, equipping Silver Arrows. I took out the Will-o-Whisps and swiftly moved as the Orges charged at me. Taking a deep breath, I dodged out of the way. Their feet had moved the rocks and earth around them as I flattened against the wall.

As they moved away, not knowing what had attacked the others. I drew my Glass Longsword, killing the two Ogres with one swing each. I rounded myself from the still pool, hearing, embracing the silece and the shadows around me. I gave a sigh, seeing that the area around me was clear. I sheathed my sword, only to meet my predecessor behind me. A Land Dreugh knocked me off my feet. I rolled as its spider legs tried to attack me like a praying mantis and its prey.

I watched as my bow slipped away from my grasp as I reached for it. The Dreugh did a series of forceful attacks, trying to stop me. I staggered to my feet, unsheathing my sword, getting ready for its attack. I gave a chance for a death blow, but was soon lost as the sword few from the Dreugh's tempted attack. There was a counter attack as I was pulling out my dagger from the side of my boot. The electric shocks it sent, blew my feet off a couple steps. I shook off the feeling, knowing that it would pass.

I couldn't have another moment to think. The Dreugh lunged at me, having me be pushed into the water. Both of its front razor blade legs shot through my arms as I cried in pain for the first time in the fight. I was brought under, struggling as it was now drowning me. I would never expect something like this to be this strong. I wasn't to give up, I kept on slashing in the water, trying to fight. It was only a few moments as I gave in- I couldn't breath, being desperate for oxygen.

Silence- The Dreugh I was struggling with stopped moving, stopped fighting. I didn't know if it was me. Even if I was slipping from conciousness, it wouldn't matter much longer. I was drawing my last breath, thinking of at the least the many things. Killing those that deserved such welcoming deaths and veturing the world, knowing that I was able to have a bit of adventuring before it ended.

I felt a tightening grip around my left wrist as I slipped into the dark abyss. The only things I thought was of death's welcome. Even then as I saw a dim light, I could find myself breathing if not a little. I coughed up the water, turning my head. I was trying to catch a moment as my eyes were trying to focus. I gasped, coughing up what was left from the water, seeing I was still living. My breathing was shallow and my body ached. There was nothing I could say.

"Listener, are you all right?"

I knew that voice. it was coming from my underling. He had saved my life. I didn't say a word, only continued to breath, now thankful to even be alive. I reached for his right hand, gripping what strength I had left to at the least give a sign to him that everything was all right.I turned my head to the right, not having will left. I fell into a slumber, knowing it was ok to take the while before deciding on another move.
